Galaxy Blast
RTG is a regular producer of online slot games, so to see them come up with something else was a complete surprise. But is it a welcome surprise? It’s time to find out as we introduce you to Galaxy Blast. If you’ve played a range of other casino games, that title might provide a hint of what’s about to happen here.
This game works differently to all slots you’ll find from RTG
And indeed, all others online, as it revolves around a rocket and its journey.
What are your betting options?
You can play from a dollar a go, with bigger coin values available as well should you wish to play more.
How does the game work?
The idea is to follow a rocket on its journey from launch to, well… the moment it crashes. The higher it goes, the bigger the prize will be if you are playing and haven’t cashed out by then. When the rocket crashes, the multiplier it is on at the time is frozen. Anyone who has cashed out on a lower multiplier will win their bet multiplied by the figure the rocket reached at that point.
If you went for a higher multiplier, you would lose your bet as the rocket would crash before it reached it. You can test the game with a few demo goes to see how this works before deciding whether you want to play for real at a dollar per go.
What about bonuses?
No – there is nothing else to tell you about this game. It’s all about the rocket and how far it might go before it crashes… and whether you can cash out before that happens.
Will this mark a diversion for RTG and its slot games?
Galaxy Blast is certainly a blast to check out, but we doubt they will start releasing lots of other alternatives to slots. This game is an excellent alternative, certainly, and it does well as a space filler if you’ve got a few moments here or there to try it out. We began with the demo, as it is a good way to get a feel for how it works and what you might expect.
